This transformation of a 1960’s era shopping center into the premier neighborhood center of Novato, California revived the entire center. A key component is the part time plaza for art, music and special shopping events while becoming a parking area during normal shopping days. Green/sustainable concepts include: photovoltaic arrays, architecturally integrated storm-water filtration, green-screen technology, solar shading and extensive new planting areas.
